Job Summary:
MEP manages the entire procurement lifecycle for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects.
Job Description:
– Know the equipment, materials, and supplies used in the industry and their suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Evaluate new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiates purchase agreements with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Procure equipment, materials, and systems complying with the project quality and specification requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Generate Purchase Orders POs for services and materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Contracting with subcontractors according to the bills of quantities and the project schedule and budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Ensure compliance with management approved procedures and policies with respect to time, cost and quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Following up with vendors\/ Contractors to ensure that orders are delivered on time and within budget parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Coordinating with internal departments to ensure that orders are processed correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Review the project material list and proposed vendor list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
