Ensuring that all architectural works at the project site comply with the approved drawings, specifications, standards, and quality requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, preparing quality documentation.
Job description:
– Review architectural drawings, specifications, and method statements for compliance with project requirements and standards.
– Conduct inspections and monitoring of architectural and finishing works (e.g., blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, painting, ceiling, flooring, joinery, façade, etc.).
– Ensure all materials used meet the required quality standards and are approved by the consultant.
– Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve architectural quality issues.
– Prepare and maintain inspection and test reports (ITRs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective/preventive action reports.
– Verify that all works are executed according to the latest approved shop drawings and project specifications.
– Monitor workmanship and report deviations or potential issues promptly.
– Participate in quality audits and assist in implementing corrective actions.
– Ensure proper documentation of all QA/QC activities in accordance with the company’s quality management system.
– Support the preparation of handover documentation, including as-built drawings, material submittals, and inspection records.
